If I had to pick ten songs, just ten, for an all-time favorites
list, this song would absolutely be on it.
When this song came out I was very deeply in love.
I was just ten, and the beautiful, radiant little girl
who graced my life for that magical, tragic year,
coupled with this and a handful of other songs,
completely reshaped my soul, my spirit, the entire
course of my life to come.
